new Transitions, we can satisfy your requirements. Standard Single Vision - Free: Our standard lenses (1.5 index) are plastic and suitable for general purpose wear. They also come free of charge with any frame, even our budget range. Single vision availability: -6 to +6 spheres. Varifocal availability: -8.50 to +7 spheres. Bifocal availability: -7 to +7.50 spheres. Hard Coated - Free: Tougher lenses that are resisitant (though not immune) to scratches and light abuse. Single vision availability: -6 to +6 spheres. Polycarbonate - £20: Tougher lenses (the same material used in safety glasses). Polycarbonates are particularly well suited to rimless frames because they are much less likely to break through accidental abuse. Availability: -6.50 to +4 spheres Varifocal availability: -9 to +8 spheres. |

High Index (1.6) AR coated: £29 : Thinner and lighter lenses, particularly suitable for stronger prescriptions. These lenses are 1.6 index and approximately 40% thinner than standard lenses. Also come with 100% UV protection and scratch resistant coatings as standard. Availability: -8.50 to +6 spheres. High Index (1.67) AR coated: £59 : Higher index lenses for stronger prescriptions, up to 60% thinner than standard lenses. Also come with 100% UV protection and scratch resistant coatings as standard. Availability: -8.50 to +6 spheres. High Index (1.74) AR coated: £128 : The highest index we provide. Very high index lenses for stronger prescriptions, up to 70% thinner than standard lenses. Also come with 100% UV protection and scratch resistant coatings as standard. Availability: -10 to -3 spheres. Transitions: £49 : Spectacle lenses that let you see the world in a way that is clearer and more meaningful, even in changing light conditions. In bright outdoor light spectacle wearers often experience glare and discomfort. But Transition lenses darken in sunny outdoor conditions, then quickly become clear again once you're inside. So you see more comfortably both in and outdoors. Availability: -9 to +8 total power Varifocal availability: -8 to +7 spheres. Bifocal availability: -7 to +7.50 spheres. Rimless Glasses: Due to lens thickness all rimless glasses have a limited power range of -6 to +6 regardless of lens type. |
